88260 Insubria (provisional designation: 2001 HE23) is a main-belt minor planet. It was discovered by Luca Buzzi and Federico Bellini at the Schiaparelli Observatory on Campo dei Fiori di Varese in Italy on April 21, 2001. It is named after Regio Insubria, an old Celtic name for the Italian region of Lombardy.
